Get ready for an action-packed and inspiring day this summer at the Dockyard as Cadet Fest celebrates 125 years of the Volunteer Cadet Corps.
This vibrant festival is bursting with energy and pride, bringing together cadet units, families and visitors for a day full of discovery and excitement! Wander through a lively village of stands, meet cadets and volunteers, and explore the wide range of opportunities available to young people.
Throughout the day, the arena will come alive with thrilling live demonstrations, including cadet bands, precision drill displays, high-energy physical training showcases and the ever-popular Field Gun competition. Each performance highlights the teamwork, discipline, hard work and dedication that define the cadet experience.
Fun, inspiring and full of memorable moments, this is a fantastic day out for the whole family.
Taking place on 13 June in the Victory Arena, this drop-in event runs from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Free to attend with no museum ticket required.
This summer event series celebrates the story and spirit of the Royal Marines in anticipation of the opening of our new Royal Marines Experience later this year. This event is made possible with support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
