Survive the Seas: A Minecraft Mission
Put your survival skills to the test in this action-packed Minecraft adventure inspired by real Royal Marine missions. Work as a team to build, adapt and survive in extreme environments.
Get ready for an unforgettable survival adventure this summer at the Dockyard, where you will test your skills in an exciting Minecraft challenge inspired by real Royal Marine missions!
After being “shipwrecked” in extreme environments, from icy tundras to dense rainforests, children must work together to survive. Build shelter, gather resources and protect your crew as new challenges unfold and conditions change around you.
With time ticking, teamwork and quick thinking are essential. Each decision matters as players experiment, adapt and come up with creative solutions to stay safe.
Inspired by real stories of survival at sea, this immersive experience is packed with excitement, problem solving and adventure, leaving one big question… will your crew make it?
Taking place on 13 and 14 August in the Victory Gallery Learning Centre, sessions run at 10.30am to 11.45am, 12.15pm to 1.30pm, 1.45pm to 3.00pm and 3.15pm to 4.30pm. Spaces are allocated on the day on a first come, first served basis. Included with a valid museum ticket and suitable for ages 5 to 13.
This summer event series celebrates the story and spirit of the Royal Marines in anticipation of the opening of our new Royal Marines Experience later this year. This event is made possible with support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
