Hartlepool Community Festival

Enjoy a day of culture, heritage, food, music, activities and performances as communities come together to share their stories and traditions. Created in partnership with the Link Community Group.

Join us at Royal Navy Museums: Hartlepool for Hartlepool Community Festival, a fun-filled day celebrating the people, cultures and stories that make our region unique.

Created in partnership with the Link Community Group and local community partners, the festival brings the historic quayside to life with live music and performances, delicious food, creative activities, displays and even more to discover.

Try something new and enjoy a great day out with family and friends. There will be face painting, a bouncy castle, a henna artist and children's craft activities to enjoy on the day.

South East Asian and African Food will be provided by local restaurants while the museum café will provide traditional English pasties and sausage rolls.

Music will be provided by Mahfuz Khan, winner of Channel S star competition 2010 singing Bollywood Hindi and Bengali songs and the band Sur Taal will be singing Bollywood Songs. Drum Link, and DJ NE4 DJS will guide the day’s activities.

Come along, explore the museum, soak up the atmosphere and discover some of the stories, sounds, flavours and traditions that make our community special.

Hartlepool Community Festival is supported by Museum Development North and delivered in partnership with the Link Community Group.
