Command the Crew! A Minecraft Education Survival Challenge

Get ready for a fun-filled family adventure this summer at the Dockyard, where teamwork, creativity and quick thinking are the keys to survival.

Step into the role of a Royal Marine crew and explore a mix of digital and interactive challenges inspired by life at sea. In the Digital Museum, children can create their own imaginative survival artefacts with Minecraft Education, designing clever tools and shelters to help them survive after being shipwrecked, the session will be delivered by TMC Computing.

With even more opportunities to build and create using Minecraft-style blocks, this relaxed and engaging session is packed with creativity, teamwork and fun for the whole family.

Taking place on 28 and 29 August in the Victory Gallery Learning Centre, this drop-in session runs from 10.30am to 1.00pm and 1.30pm to 4.00pm. Included with a valid museum ticket and suitable for ages 5 to 13.

This summer event series celebrates the story and spirit of the Royal Marines in anticipation of the opening of our new Royal Marines Experience later this year. This event is made possible with support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
